Senate: 2017 financial year budget adopted

The budget of 4373.8 billion CFAF was voted during an all night plenary sitting that ended in the early hours of 9th December 2016.

Senate President, Marcel Niat Njifenji chaired the session according to the Parliamentary procedures.

The bill will be returned to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon Cavaye Yeguie Djibril for onward transmission to the President of the Republic for promulgation.

The plenary sitting to close the Third Ordinary Session of the Senate for 2016 took place at 4pm this 9th December 2016.
