Senegal to share low-cost housing expertise with Cameroon

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Jean Claude Mbwentchou, received the Senegalese Ambassador to Cameroon, His Excellency Vincent Badji on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Yaounde.

Speaking to journalists after, the diplomat said he came to congratulate the Minister for being retained by the Head of State in the October 2, 2015 cabinet reshuffle.

The two men also discussed housing cooperation agreements under consideration. Concerning low-cost housing, Ambassador Badji he said Senegal has made great progress and was ready to share its experience with Cameroon.

Similarly, Minister Jean Claude Mbwentchou on Friday October 17, 2015 met the Spanish Ambassador to Cameroon, Jorge de Oruela Pemartin. The Ambassador said he came to discuss the rehabilitation of the Yaounde Municipal Lake, social development, housing projects and Spanish investments in Cameroon.

He said his objective during his stay in Cameroon is to enable Spanish enterprises to invest in the country and to consolidate relations between the two countries.
