Leading security sources koaci.com learns that a senior official of the recruitment and training of Boko Haram Search was arrested last night by members of the Cameroonian Special Forces.
Everything indicates that he was conveyed to Yaoundé during the night from Sunday to Monday to undergo interrogation.
According to preliminary information received, the man arrested in Amchide in the extreme north of Cameroon, goes by the name Moustapha Goni Maïra and is of Cameroonian nationality.
Prior to his seizure, the named individual had been monitored by authorities for several weeks and was found to be in possession of a Cameroon identity card when Special Forces made the arrest.
If it wasn’t already, the war launched against Boko Haram in Yaoundé is well and truly underway.
