Settlement Bill for 2012 Tabled At the Senate

The bill was tabled during a plenary sitting of the House on November 23, 2013.

The President of the Senate, Marcel Niat Njifenji on Saturday, November 23, 2013 chaired a plenary sitting of the House during which the Settlement Bill for the 2012 Financial year was tabled. The plenary sitting took place in the presence of the Vice Prime Minister, Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Relations with the Assemblies, Amadou Ali.

The Chairmen's Conference came before the plenary sitting. The Senate President announced during the plenary sitting that the Minister of Finance will first of all defend the bill in the Committee on Finance and Budget of the House soon. After scrutiny in Committee it will come before the entire House for examination and adoption.

The Settlement Bill concerns the adopted State budget for 2012 financial year that stood at FCFA 2,800 billion. Government in the explanatory statement to the bill stated that total revenue in terms of cash flow stood at FCFA 2,751,116,362,685, representing an execution rate of 98.25 per cent. Expenditure stood at FCFA 2,724,823,831,702 representing an execution rate of 97.32 per cent.
