Six perish in ghastly motor accident in Efok

A total of six people have lost their lives following a ghastly motor accident in Efok on the outskirts of Obala in the Centre region.

The accident occurred at about midnight on 3rd November, 2014.

According to eye witness accounts, the mishap involved a heavy-duty truck transporting cocoa and a Toyota Corolla car.

Both vehicles went into a head-on collision.

The impact of the collision caused the death of all six occupants of the Toyota Corolla.

The only survivor is the driver of the truck.

This accident has occurred at a time when the Ministry of Transport has embarked on a campaign to put order in the training of drivers and reinforce discipline on the highways.
