Soldier Martin Paul Samba an alleged assassin dies in hospital

Soldier Martin Paul Samba dies two days after he was rushed to the Edea military hospital after receiving a gun shot on the shoulder.

It was the ultimate means of containing this furious soldier who had just shot dead his hierarchical boss 54 year old Chi Peter Zih and, was threatening to kill his colleagues at the Edea military camp this 2oth May 2o14.

According to eye witness accounts, the soldier was infuriated by a quarrel letter tendered to him due to his lack of duty consciousness.

The Gendarmerie that has been investigating the sad incident affirms that Martin Paul Samba was influenced by Indian herm; same was still in his possession after the incident.

Shortly after the march past, the Governor of the littoral region, Betsi Assomo called on the military to remain vigilant and expressed condolences to the family of Chi Peter who died in the process of doing his job.
