Soldier wins case against former MINDEF

On April 27, the college of judges of the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court, by agreement, dismissed the appeal brought by Edgar Alain MebeNgo’o, former Minister of Defense (MINDEF). The same court had already ruled on 7 August 2013 the case between the Minister and a military denominated Jacobert MOUTHE. That day, the judgment rendered was to the detriment of the former with MINDEF.

You should know that the current Minister of Transport, when he was still at the head of the MINDEF, had taken the decision to fire Jacobert MOUTHE, a sergeant, from the army. The Minister accused him among others, of long term desertion and bad work, in 2010. After this sanction, the military seized Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o for reconsideration. But his action was ignored before the former MINDEF.

The military therefore subsequently filed a complaint to the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court seeking the annulment of the decision and compensation for the damage. The Kalara newspaper edition of May 3, 2016 indicates that such repair was estimated at 30 million CFA Francs. he won his case!

The verdict of the judge attacked by the ex MINDEF at the Administrative Chamber. Once again his appeal was rejected. The newspaper reveals that no representative of MINDEF participated in the hearing.
