Spanish International Pharmacopoeia consortium has just announced “for the coming days, the start-up of a construction project for a reference laboratory dedicated to pharmaceutical products manufacturing in Cameroon.
This revelation was made on Wednesday in Yaounde, the Cameroonian capital, following a meeting between a delegation of Spanish investors and the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi.
In his speech, Farmacopea Director General, Manuel Gonzalez Alonzo said without revealing the project amount that his group would also dedicate itself to the promotion of local fish product preservation and processing plants.
In the suite of this investor, there actually was a dozen Spanish company bosses who came to offer their services to the government of Cameroon in areas as various as security, finance, infrastructure, transport or even assistance to disabled people.
The Cameroonian delegation, for its part, highlighted the development priorities of the country which have a strong prospective for growth and job creation, ranging from infrastructure to agriculture through telecommunications, tourism and mining.
