The Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon Cavaye Yeguie Djibril on Tuesday granted audience to the outgoing Ivorian Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E Adama Dossou.
The audience was one that saw fond memories recalled as it comes barely a month after the historic five-day friendly and working visit to Cameroon of the Speaker of the Ivorian parliament, Hon. Guillaume Soro.
The diplomat talked of reinforcing the friendly relations between Cameroon and Cote d'Ivoire which he described as excellent.
An invitation for Hon Cavaye Yeguie Djibril to attend the coming Ordinary Session of Cote d'Ivoires parliament in October was tendered during the exchange.
Through the friendships made by both parliaments, the members pledged to work hand in hand for concerted legislative action that will impact the wellbeing of their peoples and promote the rule of law, peace and democracy.
