Louis Bapes Bapes former Minister of Secondary Education (MINESEC), sacked from the government on October 2, 2015, is expected at the Special Criminal Court (TCS) on Friday morning to the public reading of his indictment.

Former MINESEC, who has already been heard many times in TCS, made the "A" of the media. This is because he was the first member of the government in Cameroon, still in office to be placed in custody.

Louis Bapes Bapes, on March 31, 2014, was arrested and remanded in custody at the Central Prison in Yaoundé and released the next day on "high" instruction (hearing on the instructions of the Head of State ).

Reportedly, the former minister is to appear in court for his continuous mismanagement of the Ministry of Secondary Education.

His case is related to that of the late Catherine Abena, former State Secretary of the Ministry.

Sacked from the government in July 2009, Catherine Abena was arrested and jailed in January 2010 for an alleged embezzlement of 250 million CFA francs. After released on February 4, 2011, she died on March 19, 2014.

On January 16, 2015, lawyers of Bapes Bapes pay 35 million CFA francs to stop the prosecution.
