While the OBC declares having already ordered the disbursement and the payment of markers, officials still drag their feet at the examination centre of the lycée de Mballa II in Yaoundé.

Saturday, July 19, 2014, the principal of lycée de Mballa II in Yaoundé, who is also the chief of centre at the same high school for the 2014 session of the baccalaureate examinations and teachers marking the exam from the same school engaged in a dispute. These teachers were demanding from their chief of centre, payment for marking and their premiums from deliberation.

"We do not want in any case to cause a serious problem. We were supposed to have, in accordance with our departure and texts agreement, the first part of payments at the beginning of deliberations and the last part at the end. But this is not the case. So far, nothing has been paid to us. Neither the first part, nor the second", complains a teacher.

Corrections for the 2014 session of the baccalaureate began since the month of June. They are now at the phases of deliberations; at least the first part of our payment should have been ready.

Teachers involved in the marking process however believe that, a thousand tricks have been put in place since the convening of the deliberations, to make them wait. “But we are now at the end. If everything goes normally, we should be on our last day of deliberation. But what guarantees our payments; we are fed up with explanations. All what we want is our money," adds another teacher.

The situation remained unchanged despite the intervention of the principal; some teachers have decided to return to their various classrooms, but will boycott deliberations: “we will return to the classrooms, but we will do nothing as long as we have not been paid". Others on the other hand, started work already. This explains that, unlike other writing centres, deliberations are still dragging at lycée de Mballa II.

Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the secretariat of the deliberations, the person in charge of the lycée de Mballa II writing center revealed: "as you can see, there is no problem. Deliberations are taking place in a calm manner. With regard to payments, they are trying to be paid, you can testify. The problem might be that there are young teachers who do not know how to interpret the texts, because we operate according to the texts".

Actually, everything has a rather calm air, so far. And according to the Pv of deliberations, work is ongoing and will be completed on the same day. But for teachers, everything does not seem very simple.

"These explanations do not make sense. What texts are we talking about? We are on the 4th day of deliberation while some have completed yesterday. And it is only now that the first part of payment is being given, which according to the texts, was supposed to be paid Thursday. We agreed to go in the room, but we did not work. It is for this reason that we are the last to deliberate. We waited for our payments to begin”. They stated
