Leader of the Cameroon Peoples Party (CPP), criticizes Operation Sparrowhawk's slice approach which in her view, the principles of justice is not respected.

When questioned by the Daily New Expression of Friday, November 28, 2014 on the arrest of Professor Gervais Mendo Ze, Edith Kabang Walla, aka Kah Walla, leader of the Cameroon Peoples Party (CPP) has not been kind with actors of Operation Sparrowhawk.

For the former activist of the Social Democratic Front (SDF), the imprisonment of the former General Manager of the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) is part of a "logic of arrest homing as observed from the launch of Operation Sparrowhawk," says the candidate in the presidential election of 2011.

She added:" It shows that those sentenced today are, a priori not guiltier than those who continue to exercise high office. The arrests follow a logic and an agenda that has nothing to do with an objective and transparent approach to justice, "she thought.

For Kah Walla, the judiciary is an illusion in Cameroon because it is structurally dependent of the executive. This makes "bias in many ways, the course of justice in our country", says the promoter of the association "Cameroon Ô'Bosso".

In terms of the Special Court (TCS), a newly established court to try unscrupulous managers of public funds, the appreciation of the President of the CPC is not rosy either.

"The Special Criminal Court devotes a two-speed justice between the rich and the poor. We have small offenders suffering the worst injustices daily due to the arbitrary rule and corruption in many court courses. These malfunctions unfortunately abuse the beneficial initiatives against corruption and efforts of Cameroonian honest acting in an exemplary way for justice in our country to actually work," she concluded.
