These victims apparently are inhabitants of villages Vizik, Ldamag, Ldudam, and those closest to Mokolo, Ganday, Magoumaz and Woudahai looking to find refuge in the county.

All those who tried to join the Minawao refugee camp, were quickly discouraged by officials of the municipality. "They told us that the camp is saturated and that UNHCR can no longer accommodate people", explains a moved.

Many nonetheless revealed that they were able to find shelter with relatives, in the chiefdoms and even in the residences of the elites.
