The bodies of three people were recently found in the waters of River Mbongo, in the District of Dizangue.
According to the sub-prefect of the locality, Jean Jacques Nsang Ekode, these are the first bodies found following the sinking of a boat. In total, the boat had 10 passengers according to the administrative authority, including four who were rescued.
The remaining three passengers are still missing. "The first day, searches were unsuccessful, but Wednesday, we found three bodies. We hope to quickly find the other bodies", says Jean Jacques Nsang Ekode, who coordinates the field research.
