The National Youth Council and the United Nations Association in Cameroon have signed a partnership convention to work in synergy for the interest of Cameroonian youths.
The convention creates a platform for achievable goals like peace building, youth empowerment and development.
The President of the national youth Council, Jean Marc Afesi Mbafor signed on behalf of the council and the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Association for Cameroon, Engamba Charles Lambert.
The Junior Parliamentarians of the United Nations Association for Cameroon which is a youth development association will henceforth, work with the National Youth Council to identify the specific needs of the youth as well as document their aspirations in order to lobby assistance from national and international donors.
The President of the National Youth Council, Jean Marc Afesi Mbafor indicated that the convention is the latest in a series with associations involved in youth activities. He said that the council is working in synergy with all youth groups in the country to empower the young people socially, economically, morally and even financially. CRTV
