Supporters of the party rallied behind their candidate yesterday for the launch of campaign in the Mfoundi.

Victor Onana, list leader of the Union des Populations du Cameroun (UPC) for the Mfoundi Division has told supporters of the party that his crusade is to have the legislation revised in aspects regarding their socio-economic upbringing.

Victor Onana, in a rally in the Essos neighborhood in Yaounde yesterday Sept 15, 2013 said Cameroon was endowed with riches which if well exploited and managed will greatly improve the conditions of living of Cameroonians and especially residents of the Mfoundi in the Centre Region. "Cameroon is in difficulty and the comeback of UPC is a guarantee for a better future," he said. He explained that one must not be a mathematician or an astrologist to know that Cameroonians are living thanks to the Almighty.

To him, the country's economy must be reorganised to make it efficient, beneficial especially to the youth who highly suffer from unemployment. Better health facilities, jobs, education and infrastructure are imperative for a country which aspires to attain economic emergence and the UPC is ready and capable of reversing this trend, Onana said. To him, a vote for him in September 30 legislative elections, is a vote for the transformation of the Division for the good of all its residents.
