The body of Valérie Bevigna which got missing since last Saturday was found in a Bush in Obala. The lifeless body of this 25-year-old soldier in service at the presidential guard, was found hanged yesterday in a bush in Obala, Department of the Lékié.

The death of this non-commissioned officer was confirmed yesterday by a member of his family but the circumstances of the death of this Sergeant are still not known.

The body that was already in a state of decomposition was immediately routed to Kribi for burial. Some colleagues of this Sergeant contacted yesterday would not speak about the subject.

Family sources indicate that the officer was living in the camp of the presidential guard at Etoudi. Sergeant Valérie Bévigna entered the army in 2007, he was then 18 years old.

According to the information received, the sous-officier had participated in training for May 20 before disappearing last Saturday. He was on duty in the musical company of the presidential guard.

One of his sisters noted that they lastly spoke on phone Thursday, April 31, 2015. The death comes a few weeks after that of Willy Fouda, the son of general Joseph Fouda. An investigation has thereby been opened.
