Yannick Noah said he had distanced himself from Dieudonne four months ago after the controversy surrounding his show, Le Mur.

But the singer continues to defend his "friend", guest in the new Alessandra Sublet tv show of the night, Un soir à la tour Eiffel, and expressed regret on air that Dieudonne is "censored".

Certainly, Yannick Noah does not share "certain positions" as Dieudonne, but former tennis player lamented, “People decided he was not funny anymore, so he was censored”.

He also regretted the ban of Dieudonne’s show accused of anti-Semitism in January. "Why ban it? By what right?"Asked Yannick Noah on France 2.

Yannick Noah is close to Dieudonné for years. "I know his children, his house in Cameroon is not far from mine," before explaining that "divide and stigmatize were not" the import of [his fight]."

A few days later, Dieudonné said in a video posted on the internet, "Yes Yannick Noah is my friend. While he was promoting his album, everyone asked him to explain because there is a picture of us running on the Net. So Yannick, I'm sorry if you had problems because of me to sell your stuff, I'll buy one."
