Yaounde-Douala Highway construction makes progress

The Minister of public works visited the construction site and expressed satisfaction last Friday.

From the beginning and the end of the visit he received authority in charge of the gigantic work, Li Yufei, the regional director of the China First Highway Engineering Company Limited (CFHEC) they welcomed the promise of public works Minister Patrice Amba Salla.

Everything will be therefore put in place so that the bulldozers, workers and engineers of this company who began the construction of the motorway from Yaoundé to Douala continue their work.

The upcoming highway discussed in practice (contracts) from 2011 will connect the two main economic places of Cameroon.

Its first phase thus start-up door in a comprehensive manner on the design and the realization of the first hundred kilometers. Its two original tracks on each side will be supplemented by a third passage band.
