Magne Francoise 49-year-old woman and secretary by profession is the lone deceased victim of a ghastly car accident which occurred at the Yaounde Douala Highway on 22nd August 2016.
The accident occurred precisely at Misole 1 around Edea when a 70 seats VIP bus belonging to the Guarantee Express Agency, in an attempt to dodge from a head on timber truck, lost control and fell into a shallow valley.
Magne Francoise died at the spot while over 24 others were injured.
Passangers and eye-witnesses attest that falling into the shallow valley was just the best option which if not taken would have resulted to a carnage, since the timber truck was in a mad rush from the opposite direction.
The over 20 passengers who were injured are presently receiving treatment at the Douala Laquintine hospital, the Gyneco-obstetric hospitals in Douala and Yaounde.
The Medical Director of the Douala Gyneco Obstetric Hospital Chichom Mefire affirms that the victims are under intense care and at the disposal of a trauma team and other experts.
