Yaounde: Mfoundi-Nsam to be relieved from floods

A sum of FCFA 47.9 billion has been disbursed to construct the Mfoundi water passage in Yaounde.

The construction order was handed by the Yaounde City Council to the French construction Firm-Razel.

Rehabilitation works shall begin from the SCDP petroleum depot at the Nsam neighborhood throughout the sofavinc wine plant towards the Yaounde Douala Highway.

According to the Yaounde City Council, funding has been obtained from the Africa Development Fund ADF and the French Development Agency AFD and the International Fund for Environment.

The rehabilitation works which is to last for 36 months falls under the second phase of the Yaounde Urban Development Project.
