Yaounde Obstetric Hosp budgets FCFA 6 Billion for 2015

The second ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Yaounde Gynaeco-Obstetric Hospital (HGOPY) took place on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at the conference hall of the institution in Yaounde.

The session was presided over by the board chair of the hospital, Senator Charles Sale, one of the main points on the agenda was the adoption of the budget of the hospital for 2015. At the end of the deliberations, a sum of FCFA 6,491,519,717 was adopted as budget for 2014.

Also, the members examined the problems of staff and authorised management to go ahead with appointments of vacant posts as well as regularising the situation of probationary workers. Meanwhile, the 2014 edition of the Christmas Tree celebration of HGOPY was celebrated in the courtyard of the hospital on Saturday December 27, 2014.

It was an opportunity to offer Christmas gifts to sick children and children in distress. The Director of HGOPY, Professor Fru Angwafo III, called on the staff to treat the children without discrimination, but accord them respect, courtesy, affection and love as the Blessed Virgin Mary did to her son Jesus.
