Yde University resumes 2014/2015 academic year

The 2014/2015 academic year has begun at the university of Yaounde 1 with the environment gathering back its usual steam.

It is an exciting beginning for most “freshers” as they are anxious and curious to discover the new academic environment.

While some freshmen are excitedly moving around the new campus, others timidly prefer to hook up with mates from their former schools as a way of shaking off freshman fright.

Photocopy businesses which had died out during holidays, have again experienced efferverscence as groups of students keep flooding the site to photocopy documents required in the registration process.

Eventhough classes have resumed, registration is still ongoing for latecomers.

Old students on their part are still waiting for the release of results so to determine their new status in the university.
