Sports Minister Attend Angola/Cameroon Friendly Match

Luanda — The minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, left Luanda for the southern Huíla province, where he will attend this Wednesday evening in Lubango city, the friendly match between Angola and Cameroon, as part of the preparation of the African Cup of Nations (CAN2013), to take place from 19 January to 10 February in South Africa.

Speaking to Angop at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, the minister said that the executive has already availed all funds to support the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) and government of Huíla province.

Gonçalves Muandumba said that it is only missing for Palancas Negras resolve some aspects related to sport, training and tactical preparation for the better performance of the players.

CAN2013 will be played in the South African cities of Johannesburg, Durban, Mbombela, Rustemburg and Por Elizabeth from 19 January to 10 February.

Angola will participate in the event in group A, together with South Africa, Cape Verde and Morocco.
