The case involving Philip Mgbatu and the Banque Internationale du Cameroun pour L’Epargne et le Credit, BICEC, at a court in Douala, Littoral Region, goes through a third successive adjournment on July 18, 2014.

The next hearing of the civil claim in which Mgbatu, a Kumba-based businessman, is claiming BICEC FCFA 7 million, relating to development of a FCFA 40 billion jackpot lottery claim, has been slated for December 18 this year.

According to the presiding judge, the bailiffs concerned have been unable to identify the representative of the defense.

Meanwhile, the FCFA 40 billion comes up next week at the Southwest Court of Appeal in Buea.
