The French group Orange announced in a statement released October 2, 2014, that it will implement in 2015 in Cameroon and Mali, its Afrimarket service aimed for "cash to cash" money transfer operations through its Orange money service as quoted on Ticmag.net.

This service allows direct payment from Europe of current needs (food, school supplies) for relatives living in Africa.

After the transaction, the recipient is informed by SMS of the payment of its product, its availability or its home delivery.

The service Afrimarket will then be implemented in Cameroon and Mali, after encouraging experiences in West African countries such as Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Senegal and Benin which are among many countries that have a large diaspora, whose financial contributions for its survival are important for parents and relatives in Africa.
