Cameroon will begin their preps for the 2015 Afcon with a huddle from January 5.
According to official sources, the team will meet in Yaounde and train for three days, play a friendly with fellow finalists Congo DR and then head across the border to Gabon for eight days.
The four-time African champions have not been at the Afcon since 2010, but with a very improved form in recent months following a dismal World Cup, there is hope in the country of a good tournament.
The Lions have been in great shape in recent times and went through the qualifiers unbeaten, topping their group ahead of Cote d’Ivoire.
The Indomitable Lions and the Elephants have been drawn in the same group in the tournament and will clash in their final group game on January 28.
The other group members are Mali Guinea, who – with the two heavyweights – are all based in Malabo , the capital city of Equatorial Guinea.
