Four programs will determine the strategy of the Ministry of livestock, fisheries and animal Industries (Minepia) in 2015, firstly, the programme for the development and production and animal industries.
It provided, inter alia, the continuation of the support to private developers for large and medium-sized farms, as well as family-type farms through the improvement of the slaughter structure and the strengthening of the system of transport of carcasses in refrigerated or isothermal vehicles.
It also aims to intensify the development of beekeeping and livestock, to improve milk production and beef by the strengthening of artificial insemination.
These actions will be accompanied, as announced by Minepia's Dr. Taïga, the "acquisition of the equipment of production of fodder, the improvement of the quality of the feed, as well as the establishment of a standard of quality of livestock feed".
It also announced the launch of the project of livestock development and fisheries in the area of Northwest Bank financing Islamic Development (Bid), co-financed at 26 billion of F.
The program is intended for the improvement of health coverage for livestock and the fight against zoonoses, better productivity of livestock insurance.
Minepia intends to reduce animal diseases and improve the sanitary quality of foodstuffs of animal and fish origin.
