CHAN: Cameroon beat Niger in Friendly

One of Nigeria's Group C opponents at the Africa Nations Championship Niger lost 1-0 against Cameroon in their first tune-up game ahead of the competition, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.

The first half of the game played at Seyni Kountche Stadium, Niamey ended in a barren draw.

Cameroon, however, scored the winner through substitute Ngondji late in the second half.

The Mena are scheduled to play another friendly game against Morocco before the start of the competition.

The Indomitable Lions will face Super Eagles of Nigeria in their first CHAN game on January 18 at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo.
