2018 FIFA world cup qualifiers: Cameroon 1 -1 Algeria

The historic and decisive match for both teams was played this Sunday 9th October 2016 at the Mostapha Tchakere Stadium in Blida, Algeria.

Algeria opened the scores in the much awaited match just seven minutes into the first half of the game through a coordinated act from Algerian Soudani.

Nineteen minutes later Cameroonian Benjamin Moukandjo challenged the Algerian goalkepper with a shot, then causing the Cameroon 1- 1 Algeria.

It is worth noting that Nigeria tops group B with three points aftter defeating the Chipolopos of Zambia earlier Sunday October 9.

Cameroon and Algeria closely follow with one point each while Zambia is at the bottom with no point.

The next rendez -vous has been taken when the Chipolopos of Zambia will travel to Nigeria meanwhile Algeria will be entertained by Cameroon
