Available again after serving a three-match ban, West Ham United midfielder Alexandre Song has been left out of the Cameroon squad for their double clash with Sierra Leone mid-October.

For this next round of qualifiers of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2015 in Group D, Indomitable Lions’ head coach Volker Finke made very few changes from the team that enjoyed two back-to-back victories over DR Congo and Côte d’Ivoire earlier this month.

Called-up as a replacement for Joël Matip and Gaëtan Bong against the Leopards and the Elephants, defenders Nlate Ekongolo and Moussa Bana are back with the squad, while Cameroon are welcoming back Olympique Lyonnais’ left-back Henri Bedimo who has been recovering from a thigh injury.

But former Girondins de Bordeaux midfielder Landry Nguémo has been ruled out of the double tie, as he is still without a club.

The Indomitable Lions will enter camp at the ‘Centre d’Excellence de la CAF’ in Mbankomo on October 6, before hosting the Leone Stars twice at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé on 11 and 15 October.
