Liverpool will join West Ham in the battle to sign Alex Song - at the end of the season, according to reports in Spain.
Song has caught the eye with his impression performances at Upton Park this season after joining on a season-long loan from Barcelona.
While West Ham are keen to make the move a permanent one, Spanish news outlet fichajes.net says that Liverpool will join them in the race for his long-term signature.
Liverpool were interested in Song last summer but did not pursue a move for the 27-year-old.
Liverpool are keeping tabs on the highly rated Australian No 1 Matthew Ryan, as they consider a long-term solution for their goalkeeper problems.
