Joseph Antoine Bell, goalie, fondly called Jojo, former Cameroon international wants to be Fecafoot president. He would announce his candidature today during a press conference in Yaounde.

He would be in the battle for who would become the next president with the present Secretary General of the Cameroon football federation, Tombi A Roko Sidiki who is yet to announce his candidature.

Jojo is on his second attempt after 18 years and must have eight delegates to support him if not announcing his candidature would be a waste of time.

The RFI and Afria24 analyst has always been critical of the manner in which the federation is run and would make his road-map known on Sunday.

Bell was part of the 1982, 1990 World Cups, 1992 African Cup of Nations Fourth Place and 1994 FIFA World Cup.

He also played at the 1984 Summer Olympics and was on Cameroon’s winning team in the 1984 and 1988 African Cup of Nations. He was second-choice goalkeeper after Thomas Nkono for many years.
