The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will battle with Oubangui Wild Cats of the Central African Republic on Wednesday 3rd December 2014 in Bata for their first match in the competition.

Their adversary, the Central African Republic that lost the first group game is in a difficult position because a second defeat for them in a row would mean a premature ousting from the competition.

It is worth noting that the three times winner, Cameroon, would be out to reclaim the trophy which they slightly but did not grab during the last edition of the tournament.

During the first group game that took place on November 30, the host Equatorial Guinea thrashed Central African Republic 4-0 at the Nkoantoma Stadium in Bata.

Meanwhile the defending Champions, Gabon was humbled by Congo Republic on the 1st of December 2-1 at the new stadium in Malabo.

The CEMAC Cup formerly known as UDEAC cup is a non-commercialised football tournament that includes only local league players from the Republic of Congo, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Gabon and the Central African Republic.

Matches of this Ninth edition of the CEMAC Cup will take place in the stadiums of Bata and Malabo until December 13.
