CHAN 2016: Cameroon 3-1 DR Congo - As it happened

Welcome to the live coverage of the final round of Group B games at CHAN 2016 where Cameroon take on the Democratic Republic of Congo at the Stade Huye in Butare, kick-off is at 16h00 CAT.

DR Congo have already booked their place in the knockout stages and will end as group winners with a win or draw this afternoon. Cameroon will join The Leopards in the quarters with a win or draw, a defeat would open the door for Ethiopia who face Angola in the Rwandan Capital; Kigali.

Commentary:

90+4' - Full-time: Cameroon 3-1 DR Congo - Both teams progress to the knockout stages. Cameroon face Ivory Coast in the next round, DRC take on hosts Rwanda.

90+2' - Last change for Cameroon; Mogou replaces goal scorer Atouba

90' - Three minutes added.

87' - Chance for DRC following some neat interplay, but Cameroon get back well to clear their lines.

80' - Into the final 10 minutes of the clash and Cameroon are in control, looks like they will face Ivory Coast while hosts Rwanda will battle neighbours DRC.

75' - Another change for Cameroon, Moya replaces Mfede.

69' - Mbah makes way for Kombi - Cameroon sub.

67' - Luvumbu comes on for Lusadisu, can he make an impact?

64' - GOAL! Ngamaleu isn't made to rue his chance as Nlend doubles the Lions lead with a cheeky chip shot over the onrushing goalkeeper, 3-1.

63' CHANCE! Should be 3-1 as Ngwem and Ngamaleu link up once again, but this time, the attacker fails to hit the target, what a miss.

60' - Hour played and Cameroon currently top Group B as things stand!

56' - He goes for goal himself and almost catches out the goalkeeper, flies just wide...great effort.

55' - End to end stuff at the moment and DRC win a free-kick in a favourable position, Elia to swing it in.

52' - GOAL GOAL! WHAT A GOAL! Ngwem puts it on a plate for Ngamaleu who fires in on the volley! what a sweet strike and Cameroon are back in front.

50' - What a start to the second-half, DR Congo look a different team.

40' - GOAL! Atouba finds the back of the net, poor defending by DRC it has to be said. Ngamaleu picks out the Cameroon number 10 in acres of space in the penalty box, he settles himself before striking home with his left foot.

38' - Yellow card; Ngulubi DRC

37' - Another chance for the Lions, but again Nlend panics, should have taken a shot...allowed the DRC players to regroup.

35' - Free-kick for Cameroon played in from the right, Kingue loses his marker but is unable to direct his header on target... Chance after chance for Cameroon.

30' - SAVE! Matampi denies Nlend with a good stop, getting down low to deny the striker after he was put through on goal by Mfede.
