Shakes Mashaba has shown faith in his Bafana Bafana players and believes that those replacing his growing list of injured stars have what it takes to beat Cameroon.
Mashaba acknowledged that the injuries plaguing the national team camp has been a blow to the team, but that he's not going to concern himself with it.
"It's an unfortunate situation but there is nothing we can do," he told the Siya crew.
"We can't be stressing ourselves with the situation which we can't control."
He went on to say that the players coming in have what it takes to challenge Cameroon nonetheless.
"That's why I have said before that in the absence of the best we have to use the rest and they have done the job before and we are looking forward to a great game against Cameroon," Mashaba concluded.
South Africa face Cameroon on Saturday at 16:30 in the Stade Municipal de Limbé.
