CUIB receives electronic scoreboard

An electronic scoreboard has been presented to the president of CUIB, Rev.Fr. George Nkeze by the president of the South West Regional League of Basketball, Emile Mbella.

The board was presented to Fr. George Nkeze as acknowledgement and a sign of appreciation for his continuous support of basketball and other community activities in the South West Region.

In this light the president of CUIB, congratulated Mr. Emile Mbella and his team for their diligent efforts in raising basketball in the region to international level and encouraged them to keep working hard. He further mentioned that CUIB was always ready to support such activities that foster the development of people and their communities.

According to the president of the South West Regional League of Basketball, fondly called coach Emile the gift was handed to them by FIBA, the International Basketball Federation following the leagues' successful organization of the first ever certification training course for basketball coaches in the South West Region of Cameroon.

The president of CUIB was accompanied by some staff of the Catholic University Institute of Buea. It is worth mentioning that CUIB hosted the 10 day certification training course for coaches in the region that was organized by the South West Regional League of Basketball in the institution's Ngongi's Hall.
