Guinea, Algeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Zambia will know if they have won the right to host Afcon on Saturday at 18:00 local time in Addis Ababa.
The nations who had the opportunity to submit their final proposal on Friday evening, all remain tight lipped with anxiety kicking in towards the homestretch.
With the continental body already having inspected facilities, that remains the reason why member countries were invited for 2017 Afcon bidding process.
Algeria who are bidders for both the 32nd and 33rd editions, have also expressed their interest in the 2017 edition and this presents an interesting twist into the race to host the biennial event.
Only Zambia and Guinea have never hosted the competition, Algeria did in 1990, Ivory Coast in 1984 and Cameroon in 1972.
