The friendly match between Cameroon and DR Congo ended in a draw with a goal for each at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea scheduled for January 17.

Franck Etoundi scored the first goal in the 36th minute for Cameroon and DRC's Yannick Bolasse leveled the score in the 90th minute.

This game will be a deciding factor for coaches of both national teams on players to choose for the AFCON.

Line up for the Indomitable Lions included Joseph Fabrice Ondoa Ebogo, Raoul Cédric Loé, Jerome Guihota, Henri Bedimo Nsamé, Ambroise Oyongo Bitolo, Eyong Tarkang Enoh, Franck Kom, Jean-Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Benjamin Moukandjo Bilé, Edgar Nicaise Constant Salli, Stéphane Mbia Etoundi.

The Lions opened their doors to the public at Mfandena during their training this morning. At the training grounds, 16 out of the 24 players summoned were present. The Turkish group including Aurélien Chedjou, Jacques Zoua Daogari, Georges Mandjeck, and Léonard Kwekeu were not around.

Also absent were, Guy Roland Ndy Assembé, Raoul Cédric Loé, Patrick Ekeng Ekeng and Stéphane Mbia; for the last two, the delay was communicated.

Even with stretching, the Lions displayed clever techniques, to the delight of the public. Only 14 out of the 16 present were used for the training as defender Nicolas Nkoulou had a bandage on his left knee and together with Clinton Njié received special treatment from the Physiotherapy and fitness coach.

DR Congo are based in Cameroon for their preparatory training sessions. They have been camped since January 1 at the CAF Centre of Excellence at Mbankomo.

The Leopards are in Group B at the 2015 AFCON alongside Zambia, Tunisia and Cape Verde. They will open their Group B account on January 18 against Zambia in Ebebiyin.

DR Congo announced they will name their final 23-member team after this friendly.
