Cameroon picks third position in Cemac Cup

Eliminated at the semifinals, Lions A won the match for third place in the competition against Equatorial Guinea.

With no score (0-0) at the end of regular play time, the two nations were forced to enter into extra time and finally a penalty shootout (7-6).

In the shootout, the Cameroonian goalkeeper Pierre Abogo illustrated his potentials by stopping two opposing penalties. The two teams met for the second time in this competition, after competing in the group matches.
