Former Cameroonian International Joseph Antoine Bell made some analysis on the performance of the Indomitable Lions during their first match on RFI.
Unlike many observers in Cameroon, Joseph Antoine Bell is not alarmed by the performance of the Indomitable Lions during their first pool match against the Eagles of Mali.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2015 on Radio France Internationale (RFI), the consultant outrightly applauded his young compatriots. "For the level that I give them, it was a good match, it was a correct match", he said.
Bell considered that the Indomitable Lions are in the phase of reconstruction and that at this stage, we cannot and should not demand a lot from them.
"Cameroon is actually rebuilding with young players who are learning and at their age may not do what the stars can do. "It is logical that Cameroon is at this level," said the former captain of Olympique de Marseille. He therefore criticized those who see the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon as candidates who will bring final victory. "we need to be consistent, he said.
"When we say that one is in reconstruction, we cannot declare at the same time that it is part of the Favorites and could win the trophy", noted Joseph Antoine Bell.
