Olympique Lyonnais’ winger, Clinton N’Jie, is closing in on a move to Premier League heavyweights, Tottenham, according to L’Equipe.
Also touted as a target for arch-rivals Arsenal this summer, the 21-year-old Cameroonian international is expected to land at White Hart Lane in the next few days, with manager Mauricio Pochettino desperate to strengthen his attacking force after Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado were deemed surplus to requirements ahead of the upcoming season.
And while an improved offer of €12 million plus €3 million in bonuses has reportedly been rejected by the Ligue 1 outfit, the two parties could settle for €15 million up-front for the transfer of the young winger, who will be offered a four-year contract.
Clinton N’Jie, who came up through the ranks at Olympique Lyonnais, scored 7 goals for as many assists in 30 league appearances, including 15 starts, last season.
He made his international debut against DR Congo in September 2014 and competed at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with the Indomitable Lions.
