Canada 2015: Cameroon paired with defending champions

Following the official draw of the seventh edition of the Fifa Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, Cameroon has been paired with defending Champions, Japan in Group C.

Other opponents are Switzerland and Ecuador. While the first match in this group would be Japan-Switzerland, Cameroon’s first game is against Ecuador.

African countries like Nigeria and Ivory Coast would not have it easy as Germany a huge female football machine is paired with Ivory Coast.

Nigeria will battle it in another difficult group with USA and Australia.

There are six host cities, Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Moncton and the host city for the Group C games is Vancouver but Cameroon will play a game in Edmonton.
