The Cameroonian scored for his nation against KV Oostende this week.

Tottenham Hotspur completed a long and protracted transfer pursuit of Lyon attacker Clinton N'Jie this summer.

Spurs snapped him up for a fee reported by ESPN to be around £8 million from Ligue 1 giants Olympique Lyonnais.

Tottenham were desperate for attacking options after the likes of Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor became surplus to requirements.

N'Jie soon arrived at the club, joining Son Heung-min in helping Harry Kane in his attacking exploits at White Hart Lane this season.

Son has found the net since his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen but so far N'Jie has not had an instant impact at Spurs.

The Tottenham star is still one for the future even though he is yet to score in his six appearances for the club.

But he has now scored since his arrival at Spurs, for his national side in an unsanctioned friendly. Cameroon took on Belgian Pro League outfit KV Oostende earlier this week and won 3-1 - with N'Jie scoring the third after finishes from Aurelien Chedjou and Vincent Aboubakar.

Spurs will hope he fires another for Cameroon against Nigeria in a friendly in the Belgian capital Brussels today.
