Dinamo Bucuresti defender, Collins Ngoran Fai, has earned his first senior Indomitable Lions call-up for the game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on October 11.

The 23-year-old, who has been a regular player with the Romanian club since 2013, is part of a 25-man squad named by Volker Finke.

Fai is a versatile player, able to play at right back, right midfield or left back, known for his power, combative style and free kick ability.

Playing as a right fullback, he plays ludicrously high up the pitch in some matches and at times covers the entire right flank. Fai’s combination of speed and stamina mean he is almost impossible for any opposition player to track for 90 minutes, which is what makes him so dangerous and so difficult to play against.

His particular attacking threat is his late sprints in behind the opposition defence, to meet a pass from a centre-left position in midfield. His sharp and powerful crosses will greatly favour strikers and cause threat to the opponent.

His qualities will make many think of the glorious days of Pierre Wome, Geremi Njitap who operate the flanks dominating their opponents and making a number of crosses.

Fai started his youth career with FC Bamenda before joining Union of Douala in 2011 and in 2013 he was loaned to Njalla Quan Sports Academy before moving abroad to join Dinamo Bucure?ti in 2013. He has played with the Cameroon under-23 team.
