Just three days after winning the Cup of Cameroon to the detriment of Panther of Nde, the flagship club of the north, was also awarded the championship on Wednesday afternoon at the end of the 37th matches and penultimate round of the national league 1 football championship.

Pending the largest verdict next Sunday after the 38th and last day, we already know that Coton Sport succeeds and Cosmos of Mbam and Unisport of Haut Nkam will finish on the podium. These three teams will therefore defend the colors of Cameroon on the continental stage next year as part of the African club Cup.

They will be accompanied by Panther of Nde, beaten finalists of the Cup of Cameroon but has the doubled directed by Coton Sport of Garoua.

At the bottom of the rankings, Tonnerre Yaoundé, after beating Renaissance of Ngoumou on Wednesday by 4-2, was saved from relegation while Scorpio of Be, Renaissance Ngoumou, Njalla Quan Sports Academy Limbe and Canon Yaounde will continue to fight for maintenance. Sable Batie and Douala athletic club are doomed to Ligue 2 next season.
