16 players took part in the training session on Tuesday before the friendly game against the DRC Wednesday.

The Lions opened the doors of Mfandena on Wednesday for the start of training for the national team. At the training grounds, 16 out of the 24 players summoned for the 30th edition of AFCON (Equatorial Guinea, 17 January to 8 February) were present.

The Turkish group including Aurélien Chedjou, Jacques Zoua Daogari, Georges Mandjeck, Léonard Kwekeu were not around. Also absent were, Guy Roland Ndy Assembé, Raoul Cédric Loé, Patrick Ekeng Ekeng and Stéphane Mbia; for the last two, the delay was communicated.
