Eto'o denies Wydad link

Samuel Eto'o has cleared the air that he is not moving to Moroccan club, Wydad Casablanca, as reported by several media last week.

The 35-year-old Cameroon striker explained in a statement this week that "a potential transfer to Wydad Casablanca" is untrue "despite my great love for Morocco."

"Several media are speculating since a few days on a potential transfer to wydad casablanca; it is not true! Despite my great love for Morocco in particular and Africa in general, this information is false," said Eto'o via his Facebook page.

The four-time winner of the African Footballer of the Year award currently plays for Antalyaspor in the Turkish top division.
