Ex-Chelsea striker to join rivals in London

Former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o is reportedly set for a move to West Ham United.

The 33-year-old has moved on after he was released by the Blues during the summer, and his agent is said to have held talks with Hammers boss Sam Allardyce on Wednesday, with a 12-month deal on the table.

The under-pressure 59-year-old is looking to boost his side’s attacking options, following the news that their record buy, Andy Carroll has been ruled out for up to four months with an ankle injury.

The Cameroon international played a total of 34 times for Jose Mourinho’s side last year, scoring 12 goals.
