FECAFOOT builds headquarters in Ebolowa

The ceremony for the laying of the first brick marking the effective beginning of the construction of this building site was held on Monday October 13, 2014 in the Essinguili area at the entrance of Ebolowa in the presence of Joseph Owona, Chairman of the Committee for Standardization of the Cameroon football Federation

The building to house the Cameroon football Federation (Fecafoot) services is to be built on an area of 3.661 square metres. This project is a necessity as it will serve a number of purposes besides the offices for the organisation. According to Patrick Yossa, the architect, the building will be of 2 levels with an 'F' design to denote federation and football. The ground floor is intended to house a series of offices, with meeting rooms. The first and the second floor will also house the offices of the regional League including that of the technical controller, the Secretary and the president of the regional League. There will also be about 1000 m2 reserved for well mowed lawns.

Adequate opportunity for André-Noël Elliott, president of the regional standardization Committee and Mayor of the town of Sangmelima, to brag about its balance sheet for 15 months.

Redefining the context of the ceremony, Joseph Owona, Chairman of the Committee for Standardization of Fecafoot, sees in it, 'the mark of a reconstruction of the Cameroonian football work. It was question for the transitional body that he heads, to "revise the texts, to set up a new Executive to manage the day-to-day affairs of the Fecafoot.

It is currently, according to Joseph Owona, under the terms of the federal election which will take place in November, to provide this integrated and competent men to serve football. To this end, they must always be managers looking for excellence, the good result.
